The Village President shall serve as the chairperson of Village Board meetings. In addition, the Village President shall serve as an ex-officio member of all village boards and commissions to the extent as allowed by law. The Village President serves as the primary spokesperson on behalf of the Trustees.
The President appoints members and liaisons to various boards, committees, and commissions, ensuring that the village ordinance and state statutes are observed and enforced.
In the absence of the Village President, the President pro-tempore shall preside at meetings of the board, and during the absence or inability of the President, shall have the powers and duties of the president.
