The Arts & Culture Committee's mission is to preserve and enrich the community's character. The committee focuses on the following objectives:
- Celebrate cultural history and heritage
- Broaden the role of arts in the community
- To foster artistic creativity and artistic economy
- Facilitate recurring and new creative events and ideas
Composition
The Arts & Culture Committee consists of five (5) members, of whom four (4) shall be citizen members who are not village officials. The Village President appoints citizen members, who are subject to the confirmation of the Village Board for a term of two years. The Village Trustee is appointed annually by the Village Board.
